Emergency Medicine

Dr Rankmore continues to work in regional emergency departments, maintaining broad skills and providing frontline care. His emergency work includes:

• Acute stabilisation – managing trauma, heart attacks, strokes, and critically unwell patients.
• Procedural skills – airway management, resuscitation, suturing, and fracture care.
• Rural service – ongoing shifts at Tamworth Rural Regional Hospital and Gunnedah Health Services.

This role supports local hospitals and ensures he remains connected to the acute needs of the community.
